Call QA
Final expense call QA: checklist, red flags, and evidence
How final expense telesales floors score opening disclosures, health screens, banking checks, and DNC handling on every recording — with jump-to-moment review.
- final expense
- life insurance
- call QA
- compliance
Final expense floors run tight scripts for a reason: age qualification, health disqualifiers, banking language, and required disclosures determine whether a sale is defensible. Spot-checking a few percent of calls leaves most of that risk unheard.
What a final expense QA checklist usually covers
Every shop writes it differently, but production checklists often include:
- Opening recorded-line / licensed-agent disclosures
- Age qualification against the product band
- Health-screening questions and disqualifying statements
- Banking or payment verification language
- Do Not Call / stop-contact handling
- Warm-transfer introductions when a closer joins
Call QA scores those criteria per campaign — free-text rules you control — and attaches the transcript evidence behind each score.
Zero-tolerance flags that should not average away
Separate from checklist scoring, treat hard fails as red flags that force the call to zero, for example:
- Customer DNC request ignored
- Prohibited guarantees or unapproved phrases
- Critical disclosure missing when your policy requires a hard fail
- Profanity or abusive conduct per your standard
That separation keeps a polished pitch from “saving” a compliance miss in an average.
Why evidence matters on FE floors
Carriers, IMOs, and internal compliance ask what was said — not how the agent “felt.” Jump-to-moment review lets QA confirm or override quickly, with accept/reject comments in the trail.
Call QA was validated on a live Final Expense campaign with this style of checklist and red-flag list; QA assessment was satisfactory and the platform remains in production on that floor.
Practical pilot scope
Start with one FE script:
- Export a real end-of-day batch
- Map checklist + red flags with your QA lead
- Score the batch and calibrate false positives (especially after transfers)
- Decide whether reviewers can work from the flagged queue day-to-day
Book a final expense pilot to run that loop on your recordings.
